All allowances reset monthly. Storage is measured as average managed storage during the month. Taxes and third-party provider charges are not included.
WHAT COUNTS AS USAGE
Charge for the work a customer can see.
The meter should be understandable without knowing how the infrastructure works. That means one delivery event, one storage measure, and no hidden bandwidth line.
One successful response
A delivery is counted when SAII successfully returns a response to an external AI system or application. Failed calls, dashboard activity, health checks, and internal storage reads do not count.
Managed data held for delivery
Storage covers the structured records, indexes, and managed files SAII holds. Large media should stay on the business's existing host unless managed media is intentionally added.
No separate egress line
Normal JSON response bandwidth stays inside the delivery price at launch. Unusually large files or response sizes belong in a Scale agreement instead of a surprise transfer bill.

01Is there a setup fee?
No. The proposed model begins with the monthly plan. A managed connector may have its own recurring fee, but there is no separate setup charge.
02What exactly is an API delivery?
It is one successful SAII response returned to an external AI system or application. Internal database reads do not become extra deliveries, and failed calls, dashboard activity, and health checks do not count.
03Will there be a separate bandwidth charge?
Not for normal JSON responses at launch. Transfer is included in the delivery price. Large files should stay on the business's current media host or move into a managed media agreement.
04What happens if traffic spikes?
Free stops at its hard limit, so it cannot create an unexpected bill. Paid plans continue through delivery packs. The product should include usage alerts and customer-set spend controls before paid billing launches.
05Does SAII take a percentage of a sale?
No. The proposed Commerce add-on is a flat monthly amount plus action-execution overages. Payment processor fees are separate and go to the chosen payment provider.
06Are paid AI model costs included?
No. If a workflow uses a paid third-party model, the customer could provide its own key or pay transparent provider usage under a future managed option. That volatile cost should not be hidden inside the base delivery rate.
07How can a customer keep the bill predictable?
Included allowances, visible meters, threshold alerts, and optional spend caps should be part of paid billing. High-volume customers can move to Scale pricing rather than stack standard overages indefinitely.
